  • The Homicide Victims Support Group Australia Inc. (HVSG) offers counselling, support and information to families and friends of homicide victims throughout NSW. We are grateful for their support and expertise setting up The Road Trauma Support Group NSW.

  • The Road Trauma Support Group is independent of the NSW Police. We work with the Police to improve support, education and reform to reduce the suffering caused by road trauma as a result of a the criminal act of another.

  • The NSW government has a target of zero road deaths and serious injuries by 2050. Transport’s Centre for Road Safety develops practical solutions and partnerships to reduce death and serious injury on NSW roads. Transport provides funding to the Road Trauma Support Group to improve support to families affected by road trauma and the delivery of educational programs to the NSW community.

  • Offers care, empathy & compassion to individuals, families and communities living with the impact of loss, grief, trauma & bereavement. Grief Care are qualified pastoral care practitioners, clinicians, counsellors, educators and spiritual directors who are present for people through companioning, formation, education, advocacy.

  • heartFELT is an online community to support Families experiencing loss & trauma. It was established by Bridget Sakr, who tragically lost her daughter to a drunk and drugged driver in February 2020 at Oatlands, along with Grief Care. For more info: www.heartfelt.community

  • Penthos is a not for profit organisation which provides free specialist couple therapy after the loss of a child. Grief following the loss of a child leaves an indelible mark on a couple and can adversely effect their relationship. For some parents, grief seems to worsen rather than abate over time. The Penthos Intervention Program (PIP) may assist a couple to integrate their overwhelming loss and grow as a couple.
